MSMK nonstick pans adopts German-patented non-stick technology, 100% nontoxic, PFOA-free, and PFOS-free, ensuring it lasts for 20 years. Three layers of water-based enhanced-diamond coating make the pan more durable than hard-anodized exteriors and allow it to be washed in dishwashers, unlike the hard-anodized exteriors.  A 4mm gauge provides better heat retention for food, and the densely patterned concentric circle base ensures even heat distribution and 20% faster heating.

Why Kavero is healthy for Humans and Nature?

The idea for Kavero came from seeing the environmental damage caused by traditional nonstick cookware production. The factories producing hard-anodized cookware release harmful chemicals and generate a lot of waste, the air smells bad and leaves no grass around the factories.

We realized that creating healthy cookware wasn’t enough—we also needed to prioritize the health of the environment. Through research, we found that eco-friendly water-based coatings are a better alternative.

Does this pan need to be seasoned?

Before using your new pan for the first time, it's important to rinse it with warm water and thoroughly dry it using a towel or cloth to remove any dust or chemical residues from the manufacturing process. Next, season the pan by applying a uniform layer of cooking oil to the inner walls; after this, the pan is ready for regular use. To maintain the longevity of the pan's non-stick properties, regular seasoning is recommended. The water-based coating on this pan is more scratch-resistant than other coatings, enhancing its durability. Just like with cast iron pans, as long as the surface isn't scratched or severely worn, the pan can continue to be used indefinitely.

Where is the cookware shipped from?

All pans and pots are shipped from the US mainland and fulfilled by Amazon, typically arriving within 2-6 days.

Are these cookware nontoxic?

The coatings do not contain harmful substances such as PFOA, PFOS, PFBS, GENX, or APEO. They meet the standards set by the FDA in the US, LFGB in Germany, and the EU regulations as well. However, aluminum, which is used as the base material for non-stick pans, can potentially release into food under certain conditions, particularly when cooking at high temperatures or with acidic ingredients. If the coating is worn down, it's important to replace the pan to avoid aluminum leaching into the body.

Can the nonstick cookware used over a campfire?

It is not recommended. The temperature of a campfire can reach over 1504°F, while the sintering temperature for our non-stick coatings is 700°F. Exceeding this temperature will cause the coating to melt. If you must use a non-stick pan over a campfire, it's best to choose a low to medium heat setting, and try to avoid placing the pan directly over the flames. You could also consider using larger stones or coal blocks for indirect heating to minimize damage to the non-stick coating.

Is there any aluminum used in this pan?

Yes, the base material of most non-stick pans on the market, including all Kavero products, is aluminum.

Will the bottom scratch a glass stovetop?

The design featuring a solid stainless steel induction base will not scratch glass stovetops, unlike designs with perforated induction bases, which can easily scratch expensive glass cooktops.
