Before using your new pan for the first time, it's important to rinse it with warm water and thoroughly dry it using a towel or cloth to remove any dust or chemical residues from the manufacturing process. But for a nonstick pan, there is no need to be seasoned, a nonstick pan is born to be non-stick, the water-based coating on this pan is more scratch-resistant than other coatings, enhancing its durability. Just like with cast iron pans, as long as the surface isn't scratched or severely worn, the pan can continue to be used indefinitely.
